We are delighted to share some exciting news: Surrey Hills Accountancy has been named a finalist in three categories at the SME Surrey Business Awards 2026:
- Business of the Year (fewer than 50 employees)
- Employer of the Year
- Service Excellence
Being recognised across three categories is a genuine milestone for our firm. Each one reflects a different part of what we’ve focused on over the past year: running a sound, sustainable business, building a workplace our team is proud to be part of and delivering the standard of service our clients expect from us.
A Reflection Of The Whole Team
This isn’t the result of any one person’s work. It reflects the day-to-day effort of everyone at SHA – the advice, support and expertise we provide, the way we work together and the culture we’ve built as a firm. We’re proud of our team and this recognition belongs to all of them.

We’d also like to thank our clients. The relationships we build, and the trust you place in us, are central to what we do. Being a finalist for Service Excellence in particular reflects that trust directly – so thank you.
Celebrating Together
The winners will be announced at an awards evening on Thursday 12 November 2026, held at the Harbour Hotel, Guildford. We’re looking forward to celebrating the evening alongside other amazing businesses from across Surrey and will share the results as soon as we have them.

Office Manager
Lucy is Office Manager at Surrey Hills Accountancy, joining the firm in 2023. She supports the team with administration, compliance, client onboarding and day-to-day business operations.
Following the study of Biological Sciences at the University of Bristol, Lucy began her career at Redwood Publishing Agency, where she spent six years in the editorial department working on a variety of consumer titles. Following a career break, she returned to work as a teaching assistant in a primary school for 10 years, which included three years of leading KS1 PE. This varied background has given Lucy a practical, people-first approach to SHA office management, ensuring clients and colleagues alike are well supported.
